Buying a Fifth Wheeler
5th wheelers have now been around for a few years now, and becoming very popular for a variety of reasons. Convenience of being able to disconnect the 5th wheeler from your vehicle to do sightseeing or pop down the shops being the main reason. Where other forms of motor homes have to trailer a car behind them or having to pack up everything to be able to go sightseeing or go down to the shops.
There is some information you will need before buying a 5th wheeler, We recommend that you read the article within this web site called every thing you should know about getting started in a 5th wheeler by Gary and Lynne Wilson. We recommend that you print the document. (It is a big file)

When buying a 5th wheeler make certain you have at least 450 kgs up your sleave for your personnal belongings,This is not counting on you water, black and gray tanks being full,. as we have seen many 5th wheelers with out this amount of wieght avaliable, thus being restriced in the amount of belongings they can carry.

Visit the dealers within our link pages and tell them what you have in mind and ask their opinion.

We also recommend you visit one of our gathering and ask the members their thoughts, just remember different people could have different ideas, but the more information you have the better decision you will make.
